Catelli Brothers Marks 75th Anniversary Milestone

It was in 1946 that Anthony Catelli, Sr. launched Catelli Wholesale Meats, a local veal and lamb purveyor in Philadelphia. That was the start of what is now a 75-year family tradition of producing the highest quality veal and lamb products serving both the retail and food service industries.

American Lamb Board Offers Prizes on Social Media for Holiday Lamb Recipes

The American Lamb Board has launched the Holiday Edition of its popular #The Lamb Challenge on social media. The ways we celebrate will be different this year, so why not experiment with something new? Lamb is a perfect way to celebrate holiday meals from Thanksgiving through New Years Eve and everything in between. There is a prize every two weeks. Winners receive a set of four cookbooks and two racks of American Lamb.

Catelli Brothers was among the more than 115 companies exhibiting at the Annual Meat Conference, which was held March 2-4 at the Gaylord Opryland Resort and Conference Center in Nashville, TN. The popular conference—sponsored by the North American Meat Institute— attracted more than 1750 visitors including retailers, processors and packers.

Délimax-Montpak Group Acquisition Adds Beef to the Firm’s Product Line

Délimax-Montpak, an industry leader in the production-processing of veal and lamb in Canada, recently announced the acquisition of Terrebonne-based Viandes Forget, which will enable the firm to grow its processing capacity and enter the local beef market. Catelli Brothers is the U.S. subsidiary of the Canadian firm.
