Lamb Philly Cheesesteak

  • 8 oz. sliced lamb steak
  • 2 tablespoons cooking oil
  • Half small onion, sliced
  • Half small red or green bell pepper, sliced
  • ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste
  • Ground red pepper to taste
  • 1 hoagie roll, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons soft butter
  • 2 slices provolone cheese


  1. Heat oil at medium heat.
  2. Add onion, pepper and garlic to pan; sauté 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add meat and seasonings; brown.
  4. Coat inside of split roll with butter; toast in oven or broiler.
  5. Fill roll with meat, peppers and onions. Top with cheese.
