Ingredients
- 8 oz. sliced lamb steak
- 2 tablespoons cooking oil
- Half small onion, sliced
- Half small red or green bell pepper, sliced
- ¼ teaspoon minced garlic
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
- Ground red pepper to taste
- 1 hoagie roll, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 2 slices provolone cheese
Preparation
- Heat oil at medium heat.
- Add onion, pepper and garlic to pan; sauté 3-4 minutes.
- Add meat and seasonings; brown.
- Coat inside of split roll with butter; toast in oven or broiler.
- Fill roll with meat, peppers and onions. Top with cheese.
