Product Information Coordinator
Basic Purpose – The Product Information Coordinator key role is focused on maintaining and coordinating product specifications and data across platforms. This role will report to the Manager of Corporate Programs. The back up for the role is the Data entry and Sales support staff member.
Creation and maintenance of product specifications
Management of company product data in multiple customer portals (e.g. Sharify, Sysco suppliers)
Management of GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network)
Address issues related to inaccurate or incomplete product data, and resolve discrepancies
Provide support to the internal team regarding product data queries, ensuring quick and effective resolutions
Product setup and data maintenance in the company system (Aspen)
All other tasks as assigned
Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop required
Knowledge of EDI preferred but not required (Electronic Data Interchange)
Knowledge of meat and meat cuts is strongly preferred
Food industry experience is strongly preferred
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong attention to detail
Skilled in time management and problem-solving
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Business Degree and/or College education a plus
1-3 years’ experience in product data management and analysis tools
Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in food production or food warehousing
Preferred 2 years' customer service experience
