Product Data Specialist

Basic Purpose – The Product Data Specialist’s key role is focused on managing, analyzing, and optimizing company product data to ensure accuracy and efficiency. This role will report to the Manager of Corporate Programs.

Duties

Creation and maintenance of product specifications

Management of company product data in multiple customer portals

Management of GDSN (Global Daya Synchronization Network)

Address issues related to inaccurate or incomplete product data, and resolve discrepancies

Provide support to the internal team regarding product data queries, ensuring quick and effective resolutions

Product setup and data maintenance in the company system

All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

    Knowledge of Illustrator and Photoshop required

    Knowledge of EDI preferred but not required (Electronic Data Interchange)

    Knowledge of meat and meat cuts is strongly preferred

    Food industry experience is strongly preferred

    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

    Strong attention to detail

    Skilled in time management and problem-solving

    Excellent written and verbal communication skills required

Education / Training High School graduate or GED preferred

Business Degree and/or College education a plus
Related Experience/Requirements

1-3 years’ experience in product data management and analysis tools

Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in food production or food warehousing

Preferred 2 years' customer service experience

Physical Requirements While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs. The employee may occasionally lift or move office products and supplies.
