Human Resources Coordinator

Basic Purpose- The Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resources process at all business locations. This role provides administrative support to the human resources functions and the HR Director. Including record-keeping, file maintenance, I9’s, and training. This role is the liaison to our internal customer. The role reports to the HR Director. The backup for this role is the HR Assistant.
Duties Answers phone for the HR department
 
Follows up with applicants
 
Set up interviews and follow up calls
 
Facilitates training via Alchemy. New hire, 30/60/90 and annual.
 
Assist in visitor registrations and entrance to the facility
 
Prepares all new hires folders personal, medical, and payroll
 
Maintains employee files both active and terminated employees
 
Data entry weekly for the company’s attendance policy
 
Files documents into appropriate employee files
 
Makes photocopies; mails, scans and email documents; and performs other clerical duties
 
Submits background checks
 
Assists with processing of terminations
 
Assist employees with documentation and forms
 
Distributes benefit packages including medical, life insurance, and retirement
 
Performs HRIS data entry and maintains locker, parking, and alchemy
 
Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions
 
Performs other related duties as assigned

This position has no supervisory responsibilities
 
Qualifications
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

    Working understanding of human resources principles, practices and procedures

    Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines

    Ability to function effectively in a high-paced and at times stressful environment

    Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    Bilingual (Spanish) preferred
Education / Training High School Diploma or equivalent

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites, Outlook, Excel, Google Meets, Zoom and related software

ADP workforce experience preferred
Related Experience/Requirements 3 +years’ experience in Human Resources and administration

 
Physical Requirements Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Job requires workers to lift up to 50 + lbs. Ability to lift, push or pull up as needed. Must be able to: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend and reach above shoulders as needed.
