Account Sales & Service Representative
Basic Purpose - To provide professional and reliable account services to all customers while supporting the management team by helping to alleviate their workload. Maintain clear communication with the sales team and assist them with their needs while they are on the road. Ensure accuracy and organization in daily tasks, and collaborate closely with both the sales and account service teams to support business growth and provide the tools necessary for success.Learn all the functions of the Account Service Team
Learn product lines and product specifications to properly service customer needs
Process customer orders and address customers’ daily needs while working with outside staff to maintain and build business
Set up new products and maintain GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network)
Enter pricing into customer portals
Work as a liaison between sales and production.
Handle customer complaints and resolve customer issues.
Understanding all aspects of both food service and retail products and sales
All other tasks as assigned
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Food Industry knowledge preferred but not required
Aspen system and GDSN (Global Data Synchronization Network) knowledge a plus
Organized with the ability to multitask
Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in food production or food warehousing
Preferred 2 years' customer service experience
