The Fontaine family has been farming and producing the finest quality veal, lamb and agricultural products for more than three decades. Building on that experience, Fontaine brothers Fabien, Donald and Alexandre created Préval AG, now the largest vertically integrated veal and lamb supplier in North America and a recognized leader in the international agri-food industry.
In addition to Catelli Brothers Family of Foods in the U.S., the organization also includes the state-of-the-art, SQF-certified Saint-Germain Abattoir in Quebec.
Delimax, the Canadian farming division, is recognized as a leader and innovator in the field of specialized veal and lamb production in North America. It manages 130 of its own farms, united in a mission to provide a final product of the highest quality. In collaboration with qualified experts, Delimax continuously excels in improving all aspects of production with ongoing innovations in technology and equipment and takes a modern approach to personalized care practices that ensure humane livestock treatment and consistent quality.
Another of our companies, Serval, located in Quebec, manufactures and offers a range of milk replacer products for the feeding of young livestock. Only top quality ingredients are utilized to ensure a high level milk-based food product, which is used on our farms as well as throughout North America.
Quebec-based Montpak International is a veal and lamb processor serving both the food service and retail industries. In retail, it markets milk-fed and grain-fed veal and a line of ready-to-cook items under the Fontaine Family brand. Since 1959, Montpak International has taken pride in delivering superior quality veal and lamb products and exceptional service to customers worldwide.
