Warehouse Logistics Administrative Manager

The Warehouse/Logistics Administration Manager is responsible for advising, mentoring, and training. The purpose of the role will be to increase efficiency and processes within the warehouse and transportation operation. The role will provide support to the Warehouse Director and Supply Chain Analyst. The backup for this role is the Supply Chain Analyst.

Duties

Provide administrative support to the Warehouse Director and Supply Chain Analyst

Understand Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and ensure compliance.

Prioritize, manage, organize, and respond to daily influx of emails

Create and manage Excel files and reports

Oversee the day-to-day administrative Warehouse duties

Organize data to track and report KPI’s

Support Supervisory staff with employee’s time and attendance issues

Provide support and documentation to inbound/outbound carriers

Verify, review, and track incoming invoices

Work with accounts payable to ensure timely payment of invoices

Maintain and manage shipment documentation (i.e., BOLs)

Identify process improvements and work with leadership to implement change

Ensure all personnel are working in a safe manner and comply with all safety regulations

All other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

    Proven work experience as a warehouse/logistics administration manager

    Knowledge of the food manufacturing industry

    Strong problem-solving skills

    Expertise in Excel a must.

    Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    Strong proficiency with systems such as: Microsoft Office, Excel, Spreadsheets, Data Entry, and Outlook.

    Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.

    Strong knowledge of warehousing KPI’s.

    Experience navigating ERP and WMS databases.

    Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse office environment.

    Excellent organizational skills.

    Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask while meeting deadlines.

    Demonstrate aptitude, desire, and drive for continuous development.

    Enforce and adhere to all company GMP, Safety, SQF, Policies and procedures.

    Successfully pass the onboarding process.

    Capacity to communicate effectively and professionally with all team members, management, and outside carriers

Education / Training

High school diploma/Some college preferred

Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft office

Proficient in Outlook

Related Experience/Requirements

Minimum 2-3 yrs. experience in a warehouse office environment.

Minimum 2-3 yrs. experience in logistics.

Experience in food manufacturing

Physical Requirements

Must be able to perform the following physical activities: step, climb, balance, squat, kneel, bend, and reach above shoulders as needed.

Work in a cold refrigerated environment
