General Laborer (Part-Time AM & PM)
This position is part-time with less than 30 hours a week for either a morning or afternoon shift. Morning hours are 6am-11:45am & afternoon hours are 2:00pm-7:30pm.
Duties
- Package fresh meat in bags or film
- Load packages into machinery
- Box and weigh fresh meat products
- Place labels on packages and trays
- Apply bone guard to fresh meat
- Dust bone saw particles off fresh meat
- Learn meat cutting skills
- Sanitation duties as assigned
- Adhere to all corporate safety procedures
- Comply with all Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) requirements
- Understand and adhere to company policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Ability to lift 75+ pounds
- Able to work in a cold environment
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Use company equipment and tools only as properly authorized
- Maintain good attendance
- Work well with co-workers in a team atmosphere
- Self-motivated
